From 2012-2017 I worked in collaboration with Dr. Chris Koenig and Dr. Felicia Coleman of Florida State University's Coastal and Marine Lab, as well as many collaborators from the University of Florida and University of South Florida. We investigated the natural history, life history, and population recovery of the Atlantic Goliath Grouper (Epinephelus itijara). We have investigated age and growth of this species, spawning behavior, diet, and overall health during the spawning and non-spawning seasons.
